What is hd radio technology?
HD Radio technology is the digital broadcast of your local AM/FM stations. Many of your favorite stations broadcast a digital signal that allows you additional features that wouldn't exist on an Analog signal.
How does my radio pick up the digital signal?
In order for your radio to receive the digital signal, it needs to be a certified digital receiver. Currently, there are New Car, Auto Aftermarket, Home, and Portable options available to you. Visit the 'Get A Radio' section of HDRadio.com for more information.
Do all radios receive an hd radio signal?
No, In order to receive the digital signal, you must have an HD Radio receiver. Visit the 'Get A Radio' section to see what receivers are available.
What can i listen to here?
Our main station is available on DAB digital radio, online, on mobile with our apps, and a few other ways too. You can also listen on 105.8FM in the London area, 105.2FM in the West Midlands or on 1215AM nationwide. Many of our other stations are available on DAB nationwide, and they’re all available online. To find out all the ways you can listen to each station, visit the station page for 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, Classic Rock or Absolute Radio.
What is on your playlist?
For all of our stations you can see the music we’ve played recently, and search by track name, artist, and time played, from the Playlists page. Alternatively you could visit Compare My Radio to see how our station playlists compare to the rest of UK radio.
